Congratulations to Emma Sloane winning the “Chelsea Challenge” on Friday evening at the AILDM 20 year anniversary celebration held at Hyde Park Barracks, Sydney. Emma has won a place on Charlie Albone’s team travelling to London in May this year to help build his show garden at the renowned Chelsea Flower Show.
All six finalists represented themselves very well throughout the competition and at the final event. Although there is only one winner the benefits are enduring for all finalists both in terms of the skills and knowledge developed throughout the competition and also the connections made with key industry people that they can call in the future.
We commend Charlie Albone for providing this amazing opportunity and Steve Warner and the AILDM team for getting behind it, getting the word out there and facilitating the various challenges. This opportunity is not likely to come up too often, hopefully future Chelsea entrants will follow Charlie’s lead in the development of future industry leaders.
