New Annangrove Site and Dural Expansion

Annangrove Advanced Tree Site

Alpine Nurseries is continuing to expand with a new site for our advanced trees in Annangrove.

The new site is part of our strategy to increase the range of 200L and 400L trees for large residential and commercial jobs.  The site will ultimately be able to hold 600 200L trees both expanding our capacity and freeing up valuable space at our Dural site.  The newly available space at Dural will be used to grow a range of 400L trees.

The site complements our Alstonville site which grows our range of 75L and 100L trees giving us the ability to provide quality advanced trees in any size.

Production will commence at the site in the next few weeks once the facilities have been completed.  The site will consist of 5 growing pads with newly installed irrigation and tree stabilization supports.

Dural Expansion

Outsourcing the mixing of our potting media has provided additional space for a new growing area.

Previously our potting mix supplies were stored in an open area next to the potting shed and semi-trailer dock.  Now that we have outsourced the mixing of the potting media, we no longer need to store large quantities of potting mix components on site.  This has enabled us to create new irrigated growing pads.

The proximity of the new growing pads to the dock where our Alstonville semi-trailer unloads makes it ideal for holding 140mm, 200mm and 300mm stock which has been grown at Alstonville and brought down to Dural for sale.  This minimises the handling and movement of stock within the nursery and improves efficiency.

We now have even more area for stock to cater for our growth and we are increasing stock levels in anticipation of a busy spring season.
