Alpine & Rolling Stone LandscapesRolling Stone Landscapes has just completed another stunning landscape design using Alpine supplied plants. Rolling Stone designed and installed a 1600m2 elegant formal garden in an old equestrian centre on a private property. The centrepiece of the garden is the statue of a rearing horse recognising the previous use of the site. The water feature required significant planning and careful installation, both hallmarks of Rolling Stone. Surrounding the central water fountain are symmetrical formal gardens containing a range of plants supplied by Alpine. Many of the plants were grown on especially for the job by Alpine to provide the highest quality stock for such a prestige installation. Plants grown by Alpine included Murraya paniculata, Syzygium ‘Select’ and ‘Resilience’, Gardenia ‘Florida’, Cupressocyparis ‘Leighton Green’, Magnolia Exmouth, and Camellia ‘Pure Silk’. The gardens were used for a charity fund raising party for the Guide Dog Association in early September and were featured on television on Better Homes and Gardens. Alpine is proud to work closely with Rolling Stone in creating such a delightful garden and entertaining area. |
