Winter Specials
With the cooler weather just around the corner we have reduced the price of the following stock. It is all top quality and we have good numbers available.
200mm Callistemon salignus ‘Great Balls of Fire’.
This is a fabulous form of bottlebrush that only grows to 2m and is thick and compact in its growth habit. It produces regular flushes of deep cerise new growth and regular pruning will encourage fresh growth. This is a very drought tolerant plant and is suitable in a wide range of conditions. It should be considered for low hedges or featured in mass plantings.
Abelia grandiflora ‘Frances Mason’.
This is an extremely robust, colourful shrub that grows to 1.5m and can be used when a hardy variegated plant is needed to provide a splash of year round colour. Added to the foliage colour are the white tubular flowers that are abundant in summer.

Ilex cornuta
Commonly called the Chinese holly, this is a very hardy evergreen plant that forms an impenetrable hedge or can be pruned into sculptured mounds. Left unpruned it will grow into a small tree. It is in full fruit in winter and is often used in Christmas in July celebrations.
