Alpine Nurseries Design Trends Seminar April 2008

The Design Trends Seminar marks the first educational event we will be hosting this year. A broad range of professionals from different industry groups including Landscape Contractors, Designers and Architects made for big turnout of over 125 guests.Photo 27.jpg

There were four talks covering three topics:

•    “Sustainable Design” Part 1 by Myles Baldwin (Myles Baldwin Designer Gardens);

•    “Sustainable Design” Part 2 by Dean Boone (Distinctive Gardens & Interiors);

•    “Strategic Marketing & Business Operation” by David McKinley (Marsupial Landscape Management); and

•    “Changing Plants for a Changing Climate” by Craig Rich (Alpine Nurseries).

I’m sure the calibre of speakers helped generate such a great turnout and a very successful event.  We are very thankful for all their help and a lot of preparation and thought was evident by the quality of their presentations.

Relevant and current topics, presented by well known industry leaders topped off with great food resulted in a winning formula. This combined with the feedback we have since received gives us the confidence to continue with similar style events.

The next Alpine Nurseries seminar will be held in Late July/ early August. Invitations will be sent closer to the date, in the meantime you can express your interest and ensure we have up to date contact details by registering with Karen Reardon (02) 9651 0900 or karenreardon@alpinenurseries.com.au.
