Large Project – Moore Park Supa Centa
The landscape contract was awarded to Bates Landscape. This project demonstrates that Bates Landscape is successfully delivering landscape contracting services for both residential and commercial landscape projects. Alpine supplied most of the plants for this project. Fortunately there were very few changes required to the initial plant schedule and we were already growing most of what was required. The only change was the grasses that needed to be upsized in order to create the impact required. The most common varieties were:
Delivery was fairly straight forward as most of the plants were in 140mm and 300mm sizes. Most of the new plantings can be found in the Southern end of the site near the corner of South Dowling St and Todman Ave. |
Moore Park Supa Centa began a $60 million refurbishment in 2009. The refurbishment included an upgrade of the building's external façade and new landscaping. The refurbishment was completed this June.
