Comments, Features & Uses:
Dwarf shrub with a compact rounded habit and profuse dark red bottlebrush flower heads that cover the plant in Spring and Summer. The attractive bluish-green foliage is lance-shaped with a slightly soft, furry appearance. Good for border plantings or low hedges, in rockeries, or as a potted specimen on patios and balconies. Bird attractant.

Responds well to a trim after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth and more flowers. Feed in Spring and Autumn with an all-purpose fertiliser such as Native Osmocote or an organic fertiliser.
