Bear's Breeches 

Clumps of large deeply lobed glossy green leaves with erect spikes of purple pink bracts over unusually shaped white flowers through Spring and Summer. Use as a border, specimen or under-planting.

1.3m high x 1.5m wide clumps with flower spikes to 1.8m.

Maintain moisture all year round.

Warm temperate to cold temperate.

Maintenance and Fertiliser Requirements:


Remove spent leaves and flower stems as required. Apply a slow release fertiliser in Spring.

Pests and Diseases:

Snails & caterpillars.

Spacing Guide:

0.5 -1m for mass planting.
