Cultural Notes
|
Although this is not a new plant it has only recently been added to the Alpine range. Carissa has large white sweetly scented flowers and is a very hardy drought resistant plant that will also thrive in coastal positions. It has glossy green foliage and makes a very good low hedge or mounding plant.

Appears to be free of most pests and diseases and will tolerate frosts to -3c and possibly even colder. More information is needed to confirm this.
