Comments, Features & Uses:
Hardy compact evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green, oval foliage. Can be used as a simple, clipped garden border/hedge or used to create elaborate patterns as found in parterre gardens. Ideal for clipping into well define formal shapes and topiary.

Requires little water once established but does prefer moist soils. Will tolerate drier conditions but may suddenly brown off if allowed to dry out.

Temperature Range:

Suitable climate zones are cool, temperate, arid, semi-arid, mild tropical and tropical. Tolerates frost. It is the best Buxus for warmer regions as it tolerates heat better than other forms. |
