Cultural Notes
|
Sweeper has a paler leaf with a more pronounced ripple and the tree is more weeping that the straight species. It can be used as a large screen and can be pruned to maintain a size. Other uses are as a street tree, car park shade tree or for park land plantings. Sweeper will do best in warm moist climates and will only tolerate very light frosts to -2c.
