Comments, Features & Uses:
A vigorous, fast growing evergreen conifer that eventually forms a dense, deep green, conical tree. Makes an excellent hedge, windbreak or screen especially at exposed or coastal locations. A very hardy tree, able to withstand salt, pollution, frost and temporary inundation.

Maintenance and Fertiliser Requirements:

Responds well to heavy pruning. Creates a very tight hedge if pruned regularly. Fertilise every Spring with slow release fertiliser for optimum growth.

Prone to develop cypress canker disease, which is caused by the fungus Seiridium cardinale.
