Agave attenuata

An evergreen succulent with an outstanding rosette of large soft fleshy grey green pointed foliage. The flowers are creamy-white bells carried on a 2 – 3 m high spike.
Perfect for large rock, pebble, or simulated desert gardens, a feature or container specimen.

Aspidistra elatior

Long stemmed deep green leaves growing from creeping rhizome, small inconspicuous cream to dark purple flowers in Spring/ Summer. Known for its indestructible toughness as an indoor plant in low light areas and poor air quality, also useful for understorey planting in tropical landscapes.

Doryanthes excelsa

A dramatic accent plant with a loose rosette of large stiff sword shaped leaves which act as a base to a stunning head of red flowers borne on a tall stalk. Ideal as a mass under planting for large scale situations such as parklands or as a single feature plant (This is an Australian bush tucker plant).

Doryanthes palmeri

A dense rosette of arching leaves with a flower stalk reaching over 3m in height with masses of bright scarlet funnel shaped flowers with white interior which appears in summer. A striking accent, border plant, very effective for mass planting under trees in large scale landscapes such as parkland situations. An Australian bush tucker plant – the roots can been roasted and made into a cake. Young flower spikes can be roasted and eaten.

Cordyline stricta

A handsome foliage plant which forms a group of stems with dark green strap-like leaves. Mature plants bear clusters of lavender flowers in Spring and Summer. Use in tropical feature gardens or containers.

Phormium tenax 'Purpureum'

This vigorous hardy flax has stiff pointed purple plum to dark copper leaves with reddish flowers borne on purple stems in Summer. Use for architectural effect around pools, in pebble gardens or rockeries at entryways or for container planting.

Strelitzia reginae

An erect clump of spoon-like grayish green leaves with exotic birdlike flowers of bright orange and purple blue, sitting in pointed green bracts edged with red during Spring and Summer. Use as a feature, border or mass planted.

Zantedeschia aethiopica

A tuberous perennial with large clumps of broad dark green leaves. The large white funnel shaped flowers with yellow spadix are borne from Spring to Autumn.

Strelitzia juncea

Tall rush like straight leaf stalks with no leaf blade. Bears the same orange purple blue birdlike flowers as Strelitzia reginae. Use as a feature in landscape or in containers.

Cordyline australis

An erect palm like tree with long rich green sword like leaves. Large heads of scented creamy white flowers appear in late Spring / early Summer followed by a bluish white berry. Use as a feature, tropical landscape, privacy screen or containers.
