Cameron grew up in a small town called Coraki in the Northern Rivers area of NSW.

He started his Horticulture career at the young age of 16 as an Apprentice.  He started his nursery apprenticeship at Natures Decor in Alstonville and then moved to Benroban Plants before joining Alpine.

Cameron has been with Alpine Alstonville for 8 Years.  He says he likes working with Alpine because it’s a professional company and is always looking for ways to improve the company with new developments and projects, and the camaraderie between staff make it a great place to work.

Cameron is Sales Manager at Alpine Alstonville and manages Interstate wholesale and retail nurseries, larger interstate landscapers and smaller local landscapers.

Cameron has a Certificate IV in Horticulture and Frontline Management.  Both courses were completed on site via at Alpine’s group training program.

He likes working in Horticulture because the majority of people working in the industry do it as they are passionate about their job and it makes working with others much easier when they take pride in what they do.

Going forward Cameron would like to build the customer base in Alstonville both locally and interstate.  He hasn’t been in the role for long but is doing a fantastic job.

Outside of work, his two year old daughter keeps him out of trouble.  Apart from taking her to swimming lessons, play dates and the park, Cameron plays field hockey for the Coraki 1st grade team and also inline hockey.

Like most Australian males he enjoys a quiet beer with mates on the weekend!
