James Kauter

James started with Alpine in 2013 and after 7 years of coming through the ranks, he now looks after and supports Alpine’s commercial customer base managing and delivering large scale projects and driving growth through the commercial sector. James has always enjoyed the outdoors and being around nature. When he came across an opportunity to join Alpine Nurseries, he took it and has not looked back.

James likes the diverse team that he works with and is proud of the relationships he has built with his customers over the years.

Alpine values education and has helped James take advantage of numerous learning opportunities. During his time at Alpine, James has completed a Certificate III in Production Horticulture and a Bachelor of business administration through Macquarie University.

James is hugely grateful for the support he has received and for the many opportunities to succeed across multiple business facets.

James’ horticultural background is essential for providing a premium service; it’s hard to offer solutions when you don’t know your product. His strength is understanding customer’s needs and is dedicated to delivering a service experience beyond expectations.
Pachyphytum
James’ favourite plant is the Pachyphytum (moonstone succulent).

He says he is not quite sure why these beauties are his favourite, but that he is very much a sucker for a succulent and has quite an assortment at home.
