Description

This striking Cycad can tolerate part shade to full sun.  The leathery green foliage has the texture of cardboard, which gives it the common name of Cardboard Plant. A popular plant to be featured indoors, or in pots in part shade.  Note, the plants, including seeds, are toxic to humans and pets.  Can be planted in the ground in a sub-tropical climate or where there is no danger of frost.  Slow growing to approximately 1m high by 2m wide, this plant prefers a moist, well drained soil but is tolerant of drought once established. A popular, low maintenance evergreen plant to add interest to the home or garden.
