Project completed by Gj’s Landscape in 2008.
Construction of “Nexus” commenced in October 2006 with the landscape works completed just prior to its opening in April 2008. Nexus is located in Norwest Business Park, Baulkham Hills, and is one of a number of properties Alpine has supplied in the Norwest precinct.
The investment in greenlife throughout this business centre is commendable, it has a real parkland feel and Nexus is no exception. The use of advanced specimen plantings helped to give the feeling that the landscape had been well established for some time.
Alpine was able to source super advanced ex-ground Kentia and Livistona palms with clear trunk heights ranging from 5-8 metres. Each palm was delivered to site on a hi-ab truck, with the truck also acting as a crane to place each palm into pre-dug planting holes.
An Elaeocarpus screen, planted at 150ltr helped to soften the building and 100ltr Fraxinus ‘Raywood’ were used as street trees, to fit in with the existing streetscape.
Obtaining the best sized plants for their respective container sizes was crucial and using Alpine grown stock gave that assurance.
The landscape works and planting was carried out by Gj’s Landscapes.
