Business Development Manager – Alpine Dural

Alpine Nurseries are Australia’s leading Greenlife supplier, and we continue to grow! We lead the market in providing high quality nursery stock with an environmental focus. We are a dynamic and evolving privately owned business that is looking for great people to join us in enriching our customer’s journey from start to finish.

Based in Dural Sydney, Alpine is seeking to appoint a sales professional with knowledge of plants to cultivate current and new client relationships within the designer landscape segment. As the Business Development Manager you will be a “super networker” with a passion for horticulture and design.

High payoff activities for this role include:

  • Be the brand ambassador for Alpine’s designer landscape segment
  • Marketing and sales strategy development
  • Face to face sales
  • Product mix development
  • Provide market intelligence for the target segment

Desirable Criteria:

  • Qualifications in Horticulture, Landscape, Landscape design or Architecture
  • Previous experience in sales or service industries
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience

Nursery Apprentices x 4

Alpine Nurseries is a leading wholesale production nursery with sites located at Dural and Arcadia in northwest Sydney and Alstonville on the far north coast of NSW.

We are seeking to appoint a number of outstanding first year apprentices at our Dural and Arcadia sites, we value life experience and encourage mature age applications.

As a Wholesale Nursery Apprentice we will train and develop you to gain hands on skills and knowledge in all aspects of:

  • Nursery production
  • Plant care and maintenance
  • Pest and Disease management
  • Irrigation control
  • Sales
  • High levels of plant identification

The successful candidates will need to fulfil the following requirements:

  • A passion for plants, nature and the outdoors
  • A high level of self-motivation
  • Good attention to detail and care
  • Enjoy a physical work environment
  • Prepared to work in various weather conditions
  • Must have own vehicle and valid licence
  • Must live within 45min drive from the Dural Nursery
  • Be willing and able to take on an apprenticeship wage
  • Be prepared to complete the apprenticeship; 3-4 year commitment
