'Jerilderie Red' Kurrajong
Description
A medium sized, grafted, attractive, densely canopied tree with a stout trunk. Dense clusters of beautiful, powdery red bell-like flowers appear in summer and the large leaves are a dull, dark green. Occasional fruit are boat-shaped folicles. A great choice for many urban situations such as commercial landscapes, streetscapes, golf courses, parks and schools. A good shade tree for small residential gardens. Prefers a sunny position with a well drained soil and is both frost resistant and drought hardy. Fire retardant. Use a low phosphorus, slow release fertiliser.
