Ctenanthe setosa 'Grey Star'
Ctenanthe 'Grey Star'
Description
Grown for a tropical foliage effect, the large leaves are silvery green, with green veins and deep purple/red undersides. Excellent as an indoor plant or for understory planting as a foliage contrast in a Tropical garden. Protect from winds and maintain soil moisture as leaves will fold in when under stress and may suffer leaf burn. Ctenanthe prefers well drained, humus rich soil and warm temperatures. Prune to remove old leaves and stems and apply a slow release fertiliser in Spring.
