Description
A dwarf form of the herbaceous perennial, Dianella caerulea, 'Little Jess' has a clumping, compact growth habit with very short canes. Foliage is strappy, blade-like and fresh, glossy green in colour. Masses of purple flowers are produced from September to November. Grows in full sun to heavy shade, tolerating drought, humidity and frost. Suits a wide range of soils but dislikes very poor soils. Great plant for both specimen and mass plantings for residential and commercial situations. Water as required until established, mulch well and ensure that crown/basal clump is not below soil or mulch level. Liquid feed annually.
