Lagerstroemia Indian Summer 'Biloxi'

Biloxi Crepe Myrtle, Crepe Myrtle

Description

A pretty, small to medium, ornamental deciduous tree. Feature highlights are the attractive, patterned bark and the large, pale pink flowers, displayed in terminal panicles throughout the Summer and Autumn months. The dark green Summer foliage turns yellow-orange in Autumn. Grows in full sun to partial shade, preferring a moist, well-draining, slightly acidic soil, rich in organic matter. Suitable for temperate areas but not tolerant of coastal exposure. Good as a feature tree in gardens and parks. Remove spent flower heads to encourage the next season’s growth.
