Lomandra fluviatilis 'Shara'
Lomandra Shara, Shara
Description
A clumping, fine-leaved native grass with arching to weeping blue-green foliage and masses of perfumed, cream to yellow flowers, which are held above the leaves in Spring and Summer. Shara will grow in full sun to part shade, tolerating poorly drained soils but not permanently wet soils. Good for humid climates and protected coastal sites, displaying exceptional phytophthora resistance. Highly suited to roadside plantings and commercial, public, and residential gardens. It is low maintenance but can be cut back to 200mm high every 3-5 years to refresh the foliage.
