Alpine Nurseries now offers Loropetalum ‘Plum Gorgeous.’ Plum Gorgeous is a relatively recent release and certainly a new introduction to the Alpine range; an excellent performer we're excited to offer. A vibrant colour to the leaf, this compact, dense growth plant lives up to its name in the vivid and deep plum coloured foliage year-round. Plum Gorgeous is beautiful and bright as a colourful informal hedging plant, specimen plant and wonderful feature for pots. It is low maintenance, with spring and autumn blooms of magnificent magenta tasselled or ribbon-like flowers. Alpine Nurseries grows both Loropetalum ‘Plum Gorgeous’ and Loropetalum ‘China Pink’ to offer different price points on a similar item. ‘Plum Gorgeous’ provides a more vibrant option on the vivid leaf colour, for those projects seeking this advantage compared to the reddish-purple foliage of ‘China Pink’. It is also not as tall as China Pink, providing an advantage for density. Note: Not available for Melbourne customers.
