Poa poiformis 'Kingsdale'
Kingsdale Poa
Description
A perennial tussock grass with attractive fine, bluish-grey, arching to weeping foliage. Flowers are presented as an open panicle on stems to 700mm. It grows in full sun to partial shade, tolerates seaside conditions and is great for coastal locations. Inland plantings will handle cold to -10 degrees C with heavy frost. Prefers free draining sandy to clay loams and appreciates some Summer watering during hot, dry periods in inland climates. Reduce to half its height in Autumn, fertilise with a slow release fertiliser and water well to encourage new growth. Good for mass plantings, sloping sites and erosion control. A lovely ornamental grass that contrasts well with other plants.
