Syzygium australe 'Pinnacle' PBR
Pinnacle Lilly Pilly
Description
A very dense, narrow-growing form of Syzygium australe, popular for screening in restricted spaces and corridors. Mature leaves are rounded, bright green and glossy. Reddish-brown new foliage flushes are an attractive and valued feature and contrast well with the green leaves. Lovely white fluffy flowers are followed by red/pink fleshy berries. Performs best in full sun but will tolerate partial shade. Prefers a moist, enriched, well-drained soil and tolerates cold and drought. Ideal for planting where space is limited such as along fences and driveways and also good for topiary work. Prune yearly for a tidy hedge or every 2 to 3 years for a more informal effect.
